On July 22, Angeleno Magazine hosted their 10th Annual Restaurant Awards Event–Live and Dine L.A.
Live and Dine L.A. is an event that celebrates and rewards the best dining venues, chefs, and service around Los Angeles. Fortunately for us Angelenos, we get the luxury of tasting the best of the best paired with fabulous spirits (for a small cost). Furthermore, money from the event also benefited P.S. Arts, a L.A. based charity that provides funding for arts education in public schools.
This yearтАЩs event was hosted in Santa Monica at the Fairmont hotel. The presentation of AngelenoтАЩs Restaurant Awards entitled, тАЬPioneering SpiritтАЭ was presented by Wells Fargo Bank. There were two tickets available for purchase, the VIP ticket and the regular ticket. The VIP tickets ensured an intimate reception with top chefs Exclusive Spirits Tasting, while the regular entry tickets promised chefs cooking presentations coupled with award-winning wines and spirits. Either way you swayed, you were sure to come out happy!
Live and Dine L.A. featured approximately 20 chefs and restaurant owners for a fun-filled evening of tasting, sipping and sampling signature dishes under the Fairmont’s historical 80 ft. tall, 150 ft wide fig tree. Food sampling is already promising but imagine an unlimited array of food samples provided by top, gourmet chefsтАЩтАжcause thatтАЩs an altogether new victory! It doesnтАЩt stop there, though; we also rollicked to a live jazz band and partook in a silent auction.
Now that we’ve given you a glimpse into our delightful evening with Live and Dine L.A., we feel we ought to toot our own horn for a minute, as we were chosen as the exclusive floral partner for the event. Our lush arrangements were sprouting up all over the Fairmont grounds! We used some of our favorite flowers which we’ll display below, including: white hydrangea, succulents, and cymbidium orchids.
